Position Overview:
An online bidder is responsible for generating business opportunities and securing projects through various online platforms. The primary objective is to acquire new clients and projects by bidding on relevant platforms, understanding client requirements, and preparing persuasive proposals. The online bidder plays a crucial role in the sales and business development process of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
  • Identify potential clients and projects through online platforms such as freelance websites, job boards, and social media.
  • Research and analyze client requirements, project specifications, and industry trends.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s services and solutions to effectively pitch to clients.
  1. Proposal Preparation:
  • Prepare and submit detailed and compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition, project scope, timelines, deliverables, and pricing in proposals.
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to gather the necessary information for proposal creation.

  • Identify suitable projects to bid on and evaluate the feasibility and profitability.
  • Develop bid strategies, pricing models, and negotiation plans to maximize success rates.
  • Monitor and track bid progress, competition, and market trends to improve bidding strategies.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients through email, chat, and video calls to understand their needs and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an online bidder or in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of online bidding platforms and project acquisition processes.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and develop persuasive proposals.
  • Good negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and online collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with the IT industry and its terminology is a plus.
